MTF (resolution) The EF 24mm f/1.4 USM L showed two different souls in the lab. The center performance of the lens already good to very good at f/1.4 increasing to superb resolution figures from f/2.8 onwards where it easily reaches and probably exceeds the resolution limits of an 8mp sensor. Unfortunately the borders aren't quite as good.
Released back in late 1998 the Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 USM L is one of many ultra fast fix focals in the Canon lens lineup. It's one of the more frequently discussed speciality lenses in the community and often compared to its closely related cousin - the EF 24mm f/1.4 USM L. Both belong to the professional L (Luxury) grade league within the system
The 28mm F1.4 DG HSM Art is sold in multiple editions, so you can pair it with a camera that uses a Canon EF, Nikon F, Leica L, Sigma SA, or Sony E mount. Versions for SLR systems measure 4.2 by 3
Note: Canon has introduced a high speed 24mm lens to complement its existing EF 24mm f/2.8 AFD for the EOS System. The new lens is none other than the EF 24mm f/1.4 L USM in middle of 1997. A year later, Canon introduced another high speed wide-angle lens, the EF 35mm f1.4 L USM.
The EF 24mm f/1.4L II USM is designed to withstand the rigours of even the most testing shooting environment ā with Canonās advanced weather and dust sealing making it the perfect choice for photojournalists and landscape photographers.
The build quality of the EF 35mm f/1.4 USM L is superb but we did only miss some sort of weather sealing like in the EF 24mm f/1.4 USM L II. The AF is very fast and near silent. The Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 USM L is not a flawless lens but it can give you great results in the field.
Versus the RF 100-400mm IS USM. Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM. Like most companies, Canon announced this huge, expensive RF 100-500mm L IS first, so that all the rich people who wanted to buy one would, and so that all the people who wanted a long zoom for their EOS-R series camera bought it if they could afford it.
The Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM Lens is a staple for most photographers. and I could 100% recommend buying this if you donāt already own a lens wider than 24mm. Lifetime Review: Canon EF
